Israel says preparing for implementation of Gaza ceasefire deal

The Israeli military said on Wednesday it had begun operational preparations for the implementation of the Gaza agreement.

The ceasefire is expected to take effect on the ground in Gaza once the deal is signed, a source briefed on the details of the agreement said.

The signing of the Gaza ceasefire is expected at 1200 Israel time (0900 GMT), the source added.
