Trump, Sisi to lead international summit on Gaza in Sharm el-Sheikh

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and US President Donald Trump will chair a "Peace Summit" in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday, attended by "leaders from more than 20 countries," the Egyptian presidency announced in a statement on Saturday.

"The summit aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, strengthen efforts to establish peace and stability in the Middle East, and open a new chapter in regional security and stability," the text said, on the second day of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
