The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that Israel is holding the bodies of 86 prisoners who died inside Israeli jails, including 75 who died following the recent war on the Gaza Strip.

US President Donald Trump said he would endorse attacks on Hamas, if it continues to target gangs and alleged Israeli collaborators in Gaza. “If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them,” he wrote in a social media post on Thursday.

The New York Post quoted US envoy Steve Witkoff as saying that he is ‘confident that all the remains of the hostages will be returned from the Gaza Strip’ and that ‘Hamas must be fully disarmed and has no future in Gaza’.

Israeli forces arrested two young men during a raid on the town of Anabta, east of Tulkarm in the northern occupied West Bank.
