Singapore latest country to airdrop aid over Gaza

Singapore became the latest country to airdrop aid over Gaza on Thursday. 

It joins other countries including United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy in doing so. 

The UN has said that airdropping aid over Gaza is both dangerous and ineffective, and that it is better to transport humanitarian aid over land crossings. Israel has been blocking and restricting aid entry from NGOs into Gaza since 2 March.
