Vance in Israel amid ongoing ceasefire developments

US Vice President JD Vance is visiting Israel amid ongoing developments related to the Gaza ceasefire.

According to The Times of Israel, Vice President Vance, who arrived yesterday, is set to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday in Jerusalem, followed by a meeting with President Isaac Herzog at noon.

 Vance told reporters that the ceasefire implementation is "exceeding expectations," despite ongoing violations.

Meanwhile, Israel’s Channel 12 reported that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will arrive in Israel tomorrow for a two-day official visit.
