Israeli attacks hit eastern Lebanon

The Israeli army conducted at least two air strikes on the outskirts of Hermel, in the far north-eastern corner of Lebanon on Thursday, despite a nearly year-old ceasefire, Al Jazeera reported.

The Israeli army confirmed it carried out attacks, claiming that it targeted a Hezbollah site used for the production of “precision missiles".
