Over 200 Palestinians leave Gaza for treatment abroad
Two hundred and thirteen patients and their companions left the Gaza Strip on Sunday via the Kerem Shalom crossing in the southeast of the enclave to receive medical treatment abroad, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
WAFA said crews from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (Prcs) helped evacuate the patients for treatment in Jordan and several European countries.
The evacuation is part of a series of medical transfers organised by the World Health Organization (WHO).
