Trump says Gaza ceasefire not fragile, pledges support for Netanyahu
US President Donald Trump on Monday said that the ceasefire in Gaza is not fragile and that he would intervene to help Netanyahu, who he said was not being treated well in Israel.
"The ceasefire agreement in Gaza is not fragile, but very solid. I would force Hamas to disarm very quickly if I wanted to, and it would be eliminated," Trump said in an interview with CBS 60 Minutes.
"Netanyahu is the person Israel needed in times of war. I don't think Netanyahu is being treated well in Israel, and we will intervene to help him a little because he is being subjected to great injustice," he said.
