Morning update

Good morning Middle East Eye readers,

Here are the latest updates from Gaza, 24 days after a fragile ceasefire ended Israel's two-year genocidal war: 

• Hamas and members of the Red Cross continue the search for the bodies of eight remaining Israeli captives in Gaza City.

• Israeli forces killed three Palestinians in Gaza, and two people in separate strikes on southern Lebanon, where seven others were wounded.

• After Israeli military prosecutor, senior lawyer of the Israeli army, Major-General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, has been arrested over a leaked video showing Israeli soldiers raping a Palestinian prisoner.

• Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that countries are still working on a United Nations mandate for an international stabilisation force in Gaza.

• Half of the households surveyed by UN in Gaza reported that "food access is the same" or has deteriorated since the 10 October ceasefire.
