Morning update

Good morning Middle East Eye readers,

Here are the latest updates from Gaza and the region, 26 days after a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas:

• US has officially submitted the draft resolution on Gaza to the UN Security Council. The document calls for a transitional body for reconstruction and aid management in addition to a "temporary international stabilisation force" that would work with Israel.

• Israeli forces have arrested 540 citizens in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during October, including 8 women and 39 children, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Media Office. 

• World Health Organisation, which is set to begin its immunisation campaign in Gaza next week, has stressed the need to maintain the ceasefire.
