Israel’s El Al Airlines posts profit surge as foreign carriers halt flights

El Al Israel Airlines reported an 8% rise in quarterly profit, benefiting from foreign airlines halting flights to Israel during its genocide in Gaza, according to Reuters.

Some international carriers resumed flights in August, while others announced they would restart flights after the US-brokered ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in October.
