Israeli forces fire tear gas at Palestinian farmers near Bethlehem
Several Palestinian farmers in the village of al-Rashayida, east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, suffered tear-gas inhalation after Israeli forces attacked them while they were ploughing their land, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
The head of the village council told the Palestinian news agency Wafa that Israeli forces have been targeting farmers in the Wadi Ayash area for the third consecutive day.
Soldiers reportedly fired live rounds, tear gas and stun grenades at residents working their fields, leaving a number of them struggling to breathe.
