Al Jazeera cameraperson shot by Israeli soldier

An Al Jazeera cameraperson was shot and wounded by Israeli forces while covering Palestinians protesting near Tulkarem  in the West Bank on Tuesday.

Fadi Yassin was covering a demonstration by Palestinians in the Nur Shams refugee camp when he was shot in the leg by an Israeli soldier. Yassin said the soldier had taken aim at his leg.  

Yassin told Al Jazeera the Palestinians were demonstrating to demand return to their homes after they were displaced by Israelu authorities 10 months ago.
