Israeli leaders must face prosecution for crimes against children, says Hamas

Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on Thursday said that Israeli leaders must face international prosecution for “crimes against children”, demanding “the protection of our children, and the empowerment of their legitimate rights, just like children everywhere else in the world”.

The Palestinian group, in a statement issued on the Universal Children’s Day, said that Palestinian children are being denied the rights guaranteed to children under UN conventions.

“The United Nations commemorates Universal Children’s Day on November 20th, while Palestinian children endure a tragic reality,” Hamas said.
