Israel not providing winter aid per ceasefire deal, prominent Gaza leader says

Amjad al-Shawwa, a prominent civil society leader in Gaza and the man reportedly tipped by several Palestinian factions to lead Gaza's technocratic transition committee, told Alaraby TV on Tuesday that Israel is withholding desperately-needed winter aid from Gaza.

Shawwa said Israel has so far allowed a supply of 30,000 tents to enter Gaza, when current weather conditions demand 10 times that amount, at 30,000. 

Heavy rainfull and winds have flooded and collapsed the tents of the displaced in Gaza for more than a week, exacerbating already catastrophic conditions in the enclave.
