Al-Quds Brigades say they confronted Israeli forces' incursion in Tubas and hit vehicles
The Tubas Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades on Wednesday said that it had "confronted the incursion of the occupation forces" in the Tubas region of the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera Arabic reported.
In a statement, the group said that it had detonated explosives against Israeli army vehicles and achieved direct hits.
Israeli forces have laid a complete siege on the Tubas Governorate, where they expelled residents from the city and turned it into a military barracks.
Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth has reported that the military operation in Tubas in the northern West Bank is being led by three brigades.
The report quoted sources as saying that Menashe, Shomron, and the Commandos brigade are leading the operation, which targets several villages and towns and may take days.
