Israeli soldiers arrest wounded Palestinian from ambulance, following his release in captive exchange
A wounded Palestinian man was arrested from an ambulance by Israeli soldiers in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said.
The arrest took place at the gateway to the town of Tammoun, south of Tubas, where Israeli forces launched an extensive military assault earlier in the day.
The man arrested has been identified as Mohammad Ala'a Bani Odeh, whom the Quds News Network points out was only recently released from Israeli prison in one of the captive exchanges negotiated with Hamas.
The news comes as Israel releases the mayor of Tammoun, Samir Bisharat, after his arrest earlier on Wednesday.
