Unrwa: Israeli offensive displaced 32,000 Palestinians from West Bank camps

Unrwa: Israeli offensive displaced 32,000 Palestinians from West Bank camps

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa) said that about 32,000 Palestinians in the West Bank were forcibly displaced after Israel launched its military operations in the area.

"In the northern West Bank, Israeli Forces renewed the military order issued against Tulkarm Camp as part of operation ‘Iron Wall’ until 31 January 2026," Unrwa said.

"Some 32,000 Palestinian refugees remain forcibly displaced by the operation, ongoing since January 2025," it added.

Israeli forces have since targeted the Jenin, Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps.

In early November, the organisation had said that around 75,000 displaced people are sheltering in more than 100 agency buildings in Gaza, most of which are damaged and overcrowded.
