Israel allows just over 40 percent of aid into Gaza amid 1000 ceasefire breaches: Report

Israel allows just over 40 percent of aid into Gaza amid 1000 ceasefire breaches: Report

Eighty days after a ceasefire agreement was supposed to halt Israel’s genocide on Gaza, the reality on the ground tells a very different story, Gaza’s Government Media Office said on Sunday.

Israel has systematically violated the deal hundreds of times, turning what should have been a pause in violence into a period of continued killing, deprivation and collective punishment, the Government Media Office reported.

Rather than easing the humanitarian catastrophe, Israel has deepened it - through military attacks, mass restrictions on aid, and deliberate obstruction of basic survival needs.

Almost 1000 ceasefire violations

  • 969 ceasefire violations committed by Israel over 80 days

  • 418 Palestinians killed and;

  • 1,141 wounded since the ceasefire began

Aid strangled, famine entrenched

Israel has failed to meet even the minimum humanitarian commitments under the agreement.

  • Only 19,764 aid trucks entered Gaza out of 48,000 required

  • Daily average: 253 trucks instead of 600

  • Compliance rate: 42 percent

The result has been ongoing shortages of food, medicine, water and fuel — worsening an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis.

Fuel deliveries paint an even starker picture:

  • 425 fuel trucks allowed in instead of 4,000
  • Daily average: 5 trucks instead of 50
  • Compliance rate: around 10 percent

Hospitals, bakeries, water stations and sewage facilities remain near collapse as Israel maintains its stranglehold.

Shelter crisis and deaths from cold

Israel continues to block the entry of tents, caravans and mobile homes, leaving displaced families exposed as winter sets in:

  • 49 damaged buildings collapsed during winter weather

  • 20 people killed when structures fell on families sheltering inside

  • Two children died from extreme cold in displacement tents

  • 127,000 tents are no longer usable

  • 1.5 million displaced people left without adequate shelter

  • Three civilians still missing under rubble from weather-related collapses

A ceasefire in name only

The Government Media Office describes Israel’s actions as a deliberate attempt to impose a humanitarian reality based on starvation, coercion and blackmail. These violations, it says, amount to a calculated effort to empty the ceasefire of meaning while maintaining full control over Palestinian survival.
