Israel says it killed three Hezbollah fighters despite ceasefire

The Israeli military has claimed that it has killed three Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon in further violation of ceasefire agreements. 

"The soldiers struck the terrorists and eliminated them in order to remove the threat," the Israeli military said in a statement.

The Israeli attacks took place on the strategically important Ali Taher ridge near Beaufort Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that Israel has occupied since May amid its expanding incursion into southern Lebanon.
