• US embassies across the Middle East have issued security alerts urging American citizens to "consider departing" the region due to "the potential for an unforseen escalation" in the conflict between the US and Iran. 

• Kuwait's army said the country's air defence systems are intercepting "hostile drone attacks", following an initial wave or Iranian attacks on the Gulf state on Friday.

• Gaza's health ministry has condemned the destruction of two medicine warehouses by Israeli military in Deir al-Balah on Saturday morning, while drone strikes killed at least three Palestinians elsewhere in the enclave. 

• Israel has claimed that it has killed three Hezbollah fighters during overnight hostilities in southern Lebanon in further violation of ceasefire agreements. 

• The Houthis have denied reports that they plan to impose fees on commercial ships passing through the Bab al-Mandeb strait that connects the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. 

• The new UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham has signalled that he is exploring taking firmer measures against Israeli settlers in the West Bank amid ongoing attacks on Palestinians in the occupied territory.
