Israeli settlers attack West Bank villages, pepper spray elderly Palestinian

An elderly Palestinian was injured after being attacked by Israeli settlers, who pepper-sprayed him while he was on his land in the Abu Njeim area, southeast of Bethlehem, according to Wafa news, citing local sources. 

Wafa news also reported that Israeli settlers attacked and assaulted Palestinians in the al-Maghayyir and Abu Falah villages, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank on Monday. 

A couple was assaulted by settlers, backed by the Israeli army, after their vehicle was intercepted on the Marj Si’ plain road while travelling with their children.

Meanwhile, two brothers from the village of Abu Falah were detained by the army while tending to their farmland.

Settler gangs additionally attacked the western outskirts of the al-Maghayyir village, and security sources told Wafa that Israeli forces had raided the Solomon’s Pools tourist area in Bethlehem, but no casualties were reported.
