Trump says the US is ‘winning big time’ with Iran

US President Donald Trump said that he is making the “largest ever investment in the United States armed forces.”

“We’re winning big time with the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he said, adding that the US was "ensuring that they’re never having a nuclear weapon.”

Trump also said the US has destroyed Iran’s “navy, we’ve destroyed their air force, we’ve destroyed their leadership, we’ve destroyed their anti-aircraft weaponry”.

He said the US and Iran are currently in contact for a deal, adding that "if we didn’t do it tough, there would be no talk."
