Centcom says US begins attacks on Iran

The US Central Command announced that US forces began carrying out attacks at 8pm eastern time (12am GMT) against Iran. 

"The strikes are a powerful response to yesterday's attempted Iranian attacks on U.S. forces based in the Middle East," it added in its post on X.
